I created a menu item that link to single quiz via "Quiz description layout". I think it's not a module.
I would like to translate few words such as "Continue", "Next", "Previous", "Total time", "Thank you for getting the quiz".
I modified and copied /components/com_vquiz/language/en-GB/en-GB.com_vquiz.ini but in both cases the language displayed is always english. I modified, for example the row 535 NEXT="Prossima".

That's the language file for the component. But the component comes with several other modules as well and each has its own language file. Please check those as well.
Thanks
Daniel

the rest of the site is in italian language and all seems correct.
Regarding vQuiz I tried just language/en-GB/en-GB.com_vquiz.ini because I think it's the only one for frontend (my goal).

Is the rest of the website displaying correctly in the other language? Have you done the same with all the language files vQuiz has got backend, frontend & modules?
Thanks
Daniel

Hi Daniel,
it was my first choice but it didn't work.
I copied language/en-GB/en-GB.com_vquiz.ini into language/it-IT/it-IT.com_vquiz.ini and modified just only few rows.
For example: "Next", " Total time", and so on.
But nothing, always in english.

Hi,
You don't need to modify the English language file. You need to copy that file to the new language folder with a new name as per the language for which you want to translate the component and then start modifying this file for that language.
Thanks
