Thanks for the prompt response yet again!
I can probably do the customisation myself but am keen to see this added as a feature for a couple of reasons:
1. it would make the extension more useful for everyone
2. I won't have to reapply the customisation every time the extension is updated
As it is, the extension doesn't quite do what I want and I'll probably end up coding it manually.

This a feature I'd also like to see in vMap.
Would it be possible to add a MySQL "WHERE" option so that the markers can be filtered to the exact requirements?
For example,
Easy Profile
has an option like this:

Hello,
I am populating a vmap on Joomla with different type of markers (eg. bars, restaurants, etc)
I want to have the function of filtering the markers based on category (eg. show me only the bars).
Can i add a tree with checkbox where are the category on the right of the map for example?
Is this possible?
