Hello Danish,

I'm not able to give admin access to the website at this time.

looks like an article id conflict. I'm sure there's a way to create a new id. I'm trying to learn from the docs.

From your previous message I got to know that You are importing the articles with the primary key values i.e. ID column, So skip this column and try to import the Data again. Your imported articles will have different IDs. And if you want to update already existing articles then you need to choose Update for the operation field in Profile settings.

Hope I could reply to your query precisely...

Thanks
Daniel

Hello Bryan,
You must have seen reference to option for fields when you add/edit a profile which is used to Map the articles with Category or in such cases where you need mapping because of a different reference id ( catid in your case ). You can choose extension & Category title columns to map the correct catid. But as you said you have already mapped it manually so It's all good. And if it doesn't find any matching category then It inserts 0. And this can be found in the log section so that you can manually assign categories to such articles ( would be limited in numbers ).

But as you said It's importing only a few articles not all, We need to have a look into it. Please share your back end & FTP login credentials via Contact us form.

Thanks
Daniel

I'm trying to export - import some joomla articles from a single category.

I'm exporting 12 but importing only 4. I've tried csv and json with csv importing 4, json 5. The destination category is empty.

No error codes.

Are there any logs or any way to figure out what is wrong with the import?

I'm also unclear on how articles get mapped to a category on import. Or what if a category doesn't exist or has a different id. I see in my case the category id is different but it did map it correctly from export to import. Articles ended up in "General Info" category event though ID's were different.

Thank You
