HexData_menu - Install Issue

Apologies...when I read my post back it wasn't as clear as I hoped.

We will have a staging Joomla site and a live Joomla site. When a content owner updates or creates an article in the staging site we are looking for a mechanism so that they can export one or more articles from the staging site and import them into the live site.

Thanks for your help. We are new to Joomla and have quite a tight timescale to get our site up and running so your quick responses are appreciated.

We were looking for a tool that would allow content owners to migrate their articles and menu's from one Joomla instance to another and was hoping that HexData_article and HexData_menu would give me that functionality but it obviously doesn't.

Do you have any suggestions on how we can use HexData and it's plugins to help satisfy our requirement or suggest any other plugins you know if that we can evaluate?

Thanks for the reply. New to this product so you will have to bear with me.

So I've created 4 new profiles (Menu Export, Menu Import, Article Export and Article Import).

I have just ran the Article Export profile and it generated a csv file that seems to contain all the articles in Joomla.

I'm happy that that works...but...now my question is: can I export a single article from Joomla and import it into another Joomla instance or can the tool only export all the articles in Joomla?

I am running Joomla 3.0.2 and I have just installed HexData 1.1.0, HexData_article and HexData_menu.

All three plugins appear as expected in the Plug-in Manager in Joomla (both "HexData Import & Export for Joomla Articles" and "HexData Import & Export for Joomla Menu" have been enabled).

In the Profiles page for HexData I have a "Joomla Articles" profile but no other profiles. I was expecting there to be a profile for each plugin (HexData_article and HexData_menu).

I am assuming that a profile should have been created for the HexData_menu plugin. Am I correct in this assumption? If so what do i need to do to rectify the issue?
