Hello,
I'm sorry if you had any issues with the tool but I actually can not understand what your actual problem is? Your requirement is to fetch the data from Database to display it on Chart, the tool has got the feature. Is it a problem for you if the tool has got many other features like importing data from a CSV file or manual Input ( It's a tool not for a few people but for the mass, there are a lot of people out there who are using vChart to get data from CSV feeds )? And we do not want our users to put some extra effort in making the CSV file compatible with our tool, that's why have given the flexibility to choose only the required data from their existing files. We always welcome suggestions from our customers and implement these to make our tools a better one. If you have any, Please let us know in Suggestion box. And as far as the error you mentioned is concerned, we are using Joomla framework for database interaction and displaying the same error message which is sent by the framework itself. If you want us to look into the error, Please renew your subscription and we assure you that, If your query is correct then You'll get it working very soon.
Thanks
Daniel

I have had vChart for awhile, really not happy since day 1. Who wants to scrub spreadsheets then import or worse enter values. So connected to my databases, but the best I have been able to do is a simple select statement. The extra condition field freezes when it launches, so joins are out of the question. While I can write SQL the database is placing the database name in front of the schema name, so get a table not found error. Was considering another purchase and potential renew but burn me once shame on you, burn me twice shame on me.
